Sarcoma UK is a response to the need for UK specific information to support sarcoma patients being treated in the NHS. It was founded by Roger Wilson who was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma in 1999. Sarcoma UK is a company limited by guarantee with charitable objectives, which include provision of information and the representation of sarcoma patient interests within the various institutions of the NHS.

Sarcoma UK is associated with The Sarcoma Trust, a registered charity (No 1119848) to which it mandates profits which may otherwise be taxable.

On this website we aim to provide a gateway to information about the different types of sarcoma, using only internet sites in whom we have confidence after careful review of their ownership and content.
