About this siteThis site is a resource for sarcoma patients in the UK.This website offers a gateway to information about the different types of sarcoma, using only internet sites in whom we have confidence after careful review of their ownership and content. We offer basic information about sarcoma but we do not attempt to duplicate what is being provided well elsewhere - we provide links on the appropriate pages. We also offer information about the structure of sarcoma treatment in the UK. Improvements in the way NHS cancer services meet the needs of patients with sarcoma mean that most, if not all, patients should be able to reach a specialist treatment centre, which can be crucial to a good outcome. This website is not a medical site and cannot be used to obtain diagnostic information or advice about treatments. We offer information which is intended to help patients, carers and families understand more about the different kinds of sarcoma in ways which we hope will help them meet their particular needs. Our print newsletter is downloadable as Acrobat pdf files. The latest edition is also available here We have a growing range of print leaflets. They are downloadable and if you email us we will be glad to send copies by post.
