Progress

The Trust was launched on 13th July 2007 at the Team Sarcoma UK event held in Torquay. There has beena warm welcome for the Trust from within the patient community and fund-raising is moving ahead with a lot of support.
The Trustees are hoping to launch a first call for research projects during 2008 to establish the Trust's research programme. Work is also underway on the awareness objective, although firm plans have yet to be made. The support objective is being handled by the two groups associated with the Trust - Sarcoma UK and GIST Support UK.
